Fred Zara is a Photographer | Film maker and steadicam Operator currently based in Paris, France.
He started photography in South Africa in 2008 while he was working as a model.Back in France, an internship at the famous Parisian studio "Pin Up" enabled him to attend many inspiring photographers such as Gilles Marie Zimmerman, Peter Gehrke, Fred Farré, Nathaniel Goldberg or assisting fashion photographer Mariano Vivanco from June 2012 to July 2014, in France. In order to improve his skills, from September 2015 to September 2016 he enrolled in the European Master program at SPEOS photographic institute in Paris.Since 2008, he has been working on different productions for Vogue magazine, Numéro magazine, Elle magazine, Marie-Claire magazine and Nike to name a few with production companies such as Sala prod.He started video in August 2018 and did a steadicam workshop in Paris in December 2019 at Planning camera in order to have more services to offer to his clients.Then in addition , he enrolled at a master class for color grading in April 2024 with the company "les lapins bleus" Married to Talented Interior design architect Marie Rougier and happy father, he's following her in her new creative company Atelier Toiles surrounded with talented artists and artisans.+ 33 (0) 6 84 18 52 76
